Dunn Associates, Inc. was incorporated in 1986 in an attempt to counter the huge fees being charged by retained search firms at the time.  The intent was to find a way to help corporate and search firm clients by offering Dunn Associates services, "unbundled research" primarily on an hourly basis, as an extension of a client's human resource or recruiting department. 

Dunn Associates continues to serve clients as generalists in a wide variety of industries nationwide with their specialty being retained hourly research and name generation.

The firm's founder, Margaret A. Dunn has 20+ years experience in retained and unbundled research and recruiting.  She started her recruiting career as Search Manager with Boyden Associates Inc., one of the world's largest retained search firms.  In 1985, she established Dunn Associates.  She obtained her Masters Degree in Education from the University of Pittsburgh.  Coupled with a small, but experienced staff, Dunn Associates research consultants have identified and screened thousands of individuals for numerous management positions nationwide.
